Golden Autumn Sunset
Glittering sunset bouncing off the autumn breeze
thru tree branches towering in their dressiest dress
ambers, oranges, yellows, and reds__ a sensual tease
finery fit for a king floating to the ground in a mess
Deer frolicking past with fawns close at heel
Red tail hawk careening past to get a few peeks or less
Fireplace huffing out the smoke, I get the feel
Tonight Jack will creatively paint whatever he seeks
Candles all a glow in the windows, bbq and cob on the grill
Good friends and chatter, watching this sunset show unlike geeks
Can't be beat with a telly-vision nor pc, just to sit around and mill
Admiring God's creations as the golden autumn sunset dips low
wrapped in wool the guests shivered
and snapped shots for the books
Slowly edging away from the beauty in twos in tow
Carrying leftovers in baskets faces
glowing with loving looks
