Have you ever heard a rainbow shimmering,
or a pack of coyotes dance and croon in glee?
Did you ever sit still to watch stars in heaven glimmering,
or listen to the night concert of insects singing free?
All God’s creations talking,
All His art reaching,
God of Wonders
All-pervading
our minds__
our hearts__
and our souls__
All because He loves you and me__
Did you hear pain and suffering before the sick one went to die,
Or watch as the babies belly growled in starving hunger?
Did you ever see a homeless mother and children tremble and cry,
Or hear the heart of a soldier who buried his brother asunder?
All God’s creations talking,
All His art reaching,
God of Wonders
All-pervading
our minds__
our hearts__
and our souls__
All because He loves you and me__
Have you ever feasted on the meat of His words of love,
or find peace in His comfort and strength in His calm?
Have you ever known Him to speak in the quiet from above,
or watched as you were led without qualm?
All God’s creations talking,
All His art reaching,
God of Wonders
All-pervading
our minds__
our hearts__
and our souls__
All because He loves you and me__
Have you ever heard the lonely heartbeat of a lost lamb,
or gentle whispers from our Lord how to lead it home?
Have you ever known real love when it is in a jamb,
or felt its pain when you’ve turned away leaving it to roam?
All God’s creations talking,
All His art reaching,
God of Wonders

All because He loves you and me__
